What it does
Reads the job, not the part number
Most people don’t know a Crosby stock number. They know they have a plate to flip, a guy wire to tension, or a beam to hold while it’s welded. The assistant works from that description, matches it against every line we carry, and shows you where to look — with the manufacturer’s own figures on every row.
What it won’t do
Rate, size or calculate a lift
It never states a working load limit, never converts one, never tells you how a rating applies, and never does a load calculation. Those come from the manufacturer’s tables and from a rigger who knows your job. When the pick depends on details it can’t see — the weight, the angle, a person under the load — it says so and hands you to us.
